1997 328i WBACD3327VAV20601 (aka Rudi) Mileage listed above and being driven about 50 miles/day. 5 speed. Boston Green over Sand Beige leather. Three owners. Featured in Alex McCulloch's Roundel column issue 1 2024. Extensive repair and restoration history about 50% by me, a mechanical engineer. All the usual pattern issues addressed: cooling, suspension, and corrosion. All the sheet metal from above the differential to the tail lights has been replaced. Professional repaint of top surfaces too. No clearcoat issues. No visible rust. Modern Pioneer head unit w/ Bluetooth. XL file and more photos on request. Over $28k invested since our purchase in 2017 to bring this back to a Hagerty condition 3 daily driver. We're the third owners. Don't be fooled by the mileage. The M52 engine when properly maintained is good for more than 500,000 miles. The drivetrain can easily last that many miles. This car has been over-maintained and can be driven away to either coast quite easily. Oil (Shell Rotella T5) has been changed between 5,000 and 7,000 under our ownership. No oil or power steering fluid leaks.
