Submitted by Cort S. This is an update to previous postings. Kirk and Don are retired, and Nick is semi-retired. Never fear though, Jaris has stepped in the last few years, and he is a factory trained Saab mechanic who is very good. He is assisted by a couple of techs I have not gotten to know yet. This is a transition that has not dropped a beat. Still an excellent shop, highly professional. They even have a young lady Tiffany, who runs the front of the shop competently. This is a Saab speciality shop run and operated by three great guys, Nick, Kirk, and Don. They have been my Saab mechanics for 28 years and 6 Saabs. If you have a Saab in the Ann Arbor/Detroit/Toledo area it is worth the drive to take advantage of their skills. I live in Toledo and regularly make the trek to have them do the work I am not able to do myself. These guys know the brand inside and out. My experience is that they fix it right the first time, without replacing lots of parts. They are not cheap unless you realize that they know what to do and fix things right the first time. Compared to dealer mechanics, I've got to believe they could save you lots. They have a good stock of parts, and have quick access to the rest. This is a fair group of mechanics who know their speciality. They don't replace parts unless they are pretty certain it is broken. This is the real cost savings that Nick, Kirk, and Don bring you.
