K&N Automotive (Verified 2019) 1240 Jewett St Ann Arbor (734) 665-9944 Web: www.kandnautomotive.com Highly recommended for whatever concerns you have with your Saab in 2021! Don’t go anywhere else. Submitted by Cort S. This is an update to previous postings. Kirk and Don are retired, and Nick is semi-retired. Never fear though, Jaris has stepped in the last few years, and he is a factory trained Saab mechanic who is very good. He is assisted by a couple of techs I have not gotten to know yet. This is a transition that has not dropped a beat. Still an excellent shop, highly professional. They even have a young lady Tiffany, who runs the front of the shop competently. They also have a bunch of 'retired' Saabs to fall back on for spare parts. 8/2019 Submitted by Eric G. Kirk and the Scott brothers comprise a good group. Submitted by David K. H. Kirk and the guys are always excellent. Both of the SAABs that I have owned (1987 900, 1992 900T) have been excellently maintained at their facility. My recent outlay of $1000.00 towards a head gasket repair and misc. other items were well explained by Kirk. The place to go in Ann Arbor if you own a SAAB! Submitted by Jason T. G. Don, Nick, & Kirk have maintained three Saabs for me over the past nine years and I have been extremely pleased. They are prompt, professional and proficient. I admire their honesty and their willingness to see things from the customers point of view. I am pleased to recommend them to everyone with a need for quality maintenance. Submitted by Lynn S. These guys will diagnose your SAAB and tell you what is wrong and will only fix what you want them to fix, also great advice. Submitted by Clive M. This is a Saab speciality shop run and operated by three great guys, Nick, Kirk, and Don. They have been my Saab mechanics for 28 years and 6 Saabs. If you have a Saab in the Ann Arbor/Detroit/Toledo area it is worth the drive to take advantage of their skills. I live in Toledo and regularly make the trek to have them do the work I am not able to do myself. These guys know the brand inside and out. My experience is that they fix it right the first time, without replacing lots of parts. They are not cheap unless you realize that they know what to do and fix things right the first time. Compared to dealer mechanics, I've got to believe they could save you lots. They have a good stock of parts, and have quick access to the rest. This is a fair group of mechanics who know their speciality. They don't replace parts unless they are pretty certain it is broken. This is the real cost savings that Nick, Kirk, and Don bring you. I really like these guys and highly recommend them to anyone with a Saab. Submitted by Eric G. For just about 20 years, I've been bringing Saabs to K&N for maintenance. The service experience each time has been outstanding; I would recommend without reservation K&N (Kirk and Nick + now, Jares) to owners of all Saab vintages. Submitted by David H.
