Bill's 9000s | Ancient History
I found these old photos today...

This album contains 5 photos and 0 albums.

First ever car
The one on the left, sadly a 1936 Austin 7 Ruby. The others are my father's Lagonda Rapide (a sort of 4-door DB5 Vantage) and my mother's 3-litre Alvis TD21 convertible.

Morgan drophead
This was 1968 car with a TR3 engine, which I later had tuned by Chris Lawrence. You could change the damping from hard to positively rigid at the twist of a switch. The body had "suicide" doors and a proper convertible roof.

The Morgan again
A little later, after I'd had it resprayed and given it a new hood (which still leaked...)

Jubilee 96
I bought this car in about 1986 and had it pretty well rebuilt, tuned and otherwise mucked about with. It would stomp up to about 105 mph, given enough room.

Gilbern Invader II
I built this one myself, from a kit. We had a whole box of bits left over but it still seemed to work pretty well. It had a 3-litre Ford V6, and special alloy wheels which were hell to balance.
