It only took One Billion Hits (see Saabnet.com's One Billionth Hit) to get there, but the Saabnet.com Membership Program is finally here. This optional program features reserved and password protected usernames for the bulletin board and chat areas as well as image hosting with custom web links (e.g. coolsaaber.saabnet.com) and user profiles. Members are denoted with custom icons and have access to a the Members-Only and Future Models Bulletin Boards. The rest of the site will continue to be free to all to use with no obligation to become a member. Members will receive priority technical support, an embroidered polo shirt, Saabnet.com pin, automatic entry into the monthly raffles, auto-fill for postings (name and email) and much much more including features not yet even thought up.
Thanks for all the suggestions and feedback on features that should be part of a membership program here. They helped shape and prioritize the work which actually took more than a year to complete. All the coding was done from the ground up with an emphasis on ease of use.
