We have a yr2000 9-3 coupe. We bought the saab roof racks. Yes, you pop out the section of molding to reveal the attachment points. The rack came with instructions that were easy to follow. The only annoying thing was that the racks were too close together for our Thule box to fit easily; we had to drill some new holes in the box. If the front and rear racks had been only 3cm further apart all would have been well.
