I am looking at purchasing a 2003 93. It is an exec driven car and has been very well maintained. I talked to the owner and he mentioned that he has had a transmission issue since he has bought it (over 2 years ago). He said that the problem occurs after he drives over 20 miles on the interstate. We he gets off the interstate and stops, the transmission slips when he pulls forward. I tried to re-create this, but the only thing that I notice is a hesitation, not the transmission slipping. I do not know much about transmission, but I am wondering if there truely was a issue, woulnd't it be much worse after 2 years?

The only other thing I noticed was the the D.T.E. function does not seem to reset properly. I have only filled the gas tank up to 3/4, but after I do this it indicates that I have 100 miles to go until it is empty. I know that this is not the case. Is this caused by not filling it up all the way? Is this something that can be re-calibrated?
