I test drove both the 'soft' and 'hard' suspension version of the Arc and there is a difference in the handling and ride; much firmer ride and you can notice the difference in cornerning and winding roads. Body roll is definitely less, but the ride can be harsher on bad road. That is always the price to be paid. But I think the base Arc is sprung too softly for a Saab anyways.
