Picked up our 9-3SC last night..... Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Thu, 1 Jun 2006 03:27:16 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
We picked up what will be my wife's daily driver from the Dealership last night. To her dismay the roof rails were still attached, she mis-understood what I was sure I had told her about having to wait until the new trim strips arrived from Sweden for the roof grooves. But a couple of questions:
Is it true that a third key (cut shaft only) would have to be ordered from Sweden? The Salesmanager said the machine to cut the serpentine slots in the blank costs over $15,000 and no US Dealer has one.
What is the purpose of the chrome T-handle in the floor of the cargo compartment, other than lifting the compartment floor? Sales literature mentions a grocery bag holder in the compartment. Is this T-handle intended to be used to prevent plastic grocery bags from falling over? No pictures in the Owner's Manual to explain sales literature comment.
The Owner's Manual cover has a convenient elastic loop which could be used to hold a pen. The glove box door has a plastic clip which might be used to hold a tire pressure gage. No pen or pressure gage provided with this 9-3SC but my 9-5 came equipped with both 6 years ago. Decontenting by Saab-USA or sticky fingers by someone at the Dealership?
Thanks,
