Hi from Canada:
I had an 04 Convertible and the quality was horrible. I think in two years they literally rebuilt the entire car under warranty. Every electrical thing that could go wrong did, I could not wash the car with a garden hose because water leaked in like a running tap (which they never could fix). But like you said, fun to drive and because safety is my priority it was (and still is) the only convertible to get a 5 star crash rating. So I put up with it. Finally I had enough, it was winter and the power driver window dies and would not go back up. I went to the dealer and said do something, or I paint the car yellow with 'lemon' written on both sides in black and hire a kid to drive it all day, when I am at work, in downtown Toronto (Canada's largest city) To their credit and GM I am now driving a brand new 06 Aero Convertible for no money extra, and to be honest THEY ARE BETTER BUILT. I have not had any problems except for the gas guage and it has now corrected itself. Hope this helps. Cheers
Alan
