My '06 SC Aero 3K miles, also sputters (and at times comes close to stalling)at idle usually under the following specific condition: after driving for a while (10-30 minutes), then park and turn off (on a level surface - in a warm garage at approximately 48 degrees or so, temp can vary, turned off anywhere from 10-45 minutes approximately) then you start it up again and leave to idle (sputtering happens again immediately, even after a few pushes on the gas it continues to idle roughly). Once I start out driving the rough idle disapears. The top Mechanic at our Dealer in Denver looked it over yesterday, re-flashed the ECM with the latest update, checked all related items thoroughly, and still the problem exists. I run 93 Octane always. I will try a new tank of gas just in case fuel was bad and run Techron through to check injectors etc. Both the shop forman and their top mechanic seem to think it's a glitch in programming. They have asked me to see if anyone else on SAABNET had/has a similiar problem and to help describe the conditions when this idle problem occurs. They will submit this abnormality to GM/SAAB engineers and hopefully they can resolve this problem (if it's a problem). The dealer spent hours checking the car out, no aparant problems were found (as mentioned before). Appreciate any input others have. Thanks.
