CPO 03 Linear 9-3 manual transmission with options Posted by Dan [Email] (#2459) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Dan) on Mon, 16 Apr 2007 09:33:04 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Hello, I am a newbie here and have a question about a car I'm looking at buying. It' s a 9-3 2003 Linear model, with 40K miles, manual transmission, moonroof and a whole bunch of options (6 CD changer, power everything). I had agreed with the Saab dealer to buy it as a CPO for $13,995.
When I went to sign the papers, there was nothing that indicated that it was CPO other than the inspection work sheet (they offered to make me a photocopy of that!), which actually dates back to June 2006 when the car had 39,800 miles on it. The due bill had "Sold equipped as is", that's all, and the bill of sale had "used" car. I didn't sign yet and decided to do some more research. My questions are:
1) Is this a fair price for a CPO car that appears to be in good condition?
2) How can I make sure that I am indeed buying a CPO car and not just swett-talked/bullied into buying a used car as is? What documentatiion should the dealer provide? Should it show up somewhere on the bill of sale or due bill?
Thanks for any feedback you can give!
