I'm having a series of issues with my 05 9-3 (65k miles) that have been coming one after the other. Just wanted to post my experiences to see if anyone else has had any similar issues.

1. Two of my windows started going up all the way then halfway down. Obviously, the safety mechanism was activating. Took it to the dealer and after 3 hours, they figured out that they needed to reprogram the windows.

2. As soon as I made it home from the dealer after the window reprogram, I shut the driver's door and the mirrors both went all the way down. I get back in the car to try to use the switch to move the windows and found the switch to be loose. Also, regardless of if I had it on L or R it always moved the right mirror. The dealer determined that the switch needs replaced and will not admit that they had the door apart when diagnosing the window problem. Had to order the switch, awaiting installation.

3. Three days after having the mirror problem diagnosed, my front passenger window would only go about half way up and then stop. At the same time, all other windows went up and the safety mechanism activated. Had to leave the car sit with the windows halfway down. Couple hours later, tried to put them up and they all worked.

4. About five hours after all the windows going up, went to start the car and got a message that the steering wheel lock malfunctioned. Lock wouldn't unlock, key wouldn't turn ignition. Let it sit overnight and still no change. So I pulled the fuses for he steering wheel lock and the ignition switch. Looked good so I put them back in, and now the steering wheel lock started working and all was fine. Get the car home and remove the key, the steering wheel lock doesn't lock at all. Next day, it's working again. Haven't been to the dealer yet for this one. (Note: the steering wheel was replaced a while back as part of a recall)

I'm stuck between deciding if this is a quality issue or a dealer service issue. Since all started happening one after the other, it makes me think poor service could be a factor.
