Issues with the new Black-tie Radios

I recently purchased a 2007 9-3 conv't. (60th Ann. Ed.) which now features GM’s new black-tie premium audio package. This is now my 4th Saab and what I am noticing with this one is that radio is not aging well. There are already fine scratches and imperfections in the faceplate, and that is only after 3 months of ownership. So far, I have only used a 3M micro fibre cloth to wipe off any dust.
I don’t know whether this is convertible issue only, since the sun reflects directly on the radio faceplate or if it is common with these new radios. Has anyone else encountered this problem and does anyone know whether Saab will be remedying this issue?
