Depends on what you like, what you're looking for.
The stock Pirelli P6 4 Seasons are average, not lousy (some would disagree) and not great.
Even if it snows once or twice, you are not playing it safe by getting all seasons. One slip and the car is dented, maybe your neck is sore. So if you have to get snow tires, why not get really good summer tires?
I'm planning to get Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 next spring unless Yokohama Advan Neovas come out in 235/45-17's.
Some people are interested in a quiet ride only. In that case, try something different. The above mentioned tires stop in a few feet less than bad tires. They can grip in a turn a bit more while lousy tires skid. You don't have to drive at 100 mph to need good tires.
