My Saab 2003 9-3 is also clunking on front driver's side. My husband replaced all brake pads last week, and a day later I was backing down the driveway and heard a loud "D-OING" like a metal part under tension breaking loose. We checked the spring clips on the pads- all fine, and took the wheels off to see if anything obvious was loose- didn't see anything. It brakes and handles just fine, the only time the clunking is heard is when
going over larger bumps in the road. We can't replicate it when pushing on the bumper ourselves. Any ideas? Thanks in advance....
