congrats. i made the move from a 90 900, heavily modified (programmable ecu, ext wastegate, 3" exh, ported head, cust cams, etc) to an 06 aero late last summer. i first had the same feelings you described, in fact i still think my 900 will pull on the aero on the highway...:) but a huge part of that is the peaky nature of the early saab turbos. they may have the same or similar power, but since the newer v6 turbos apply the power across a wider part of the rpm band, it is smoother and can feel weaker. i do think that highway power for the 06 aero is somewhat lacking. i say that based on how my 900 would pull away from anything else on the road at highway speeds. the aero on the other hand has great power and overtaking ability, but it does not pull away from other cars at the same rate. i am thinking the bsr ppc and and exhaust may help, but not committed to going that route right now. i'm still enjoying the new feel of this car. anyway, my 2 cents. enjoy!
