I am pretty sure I posted the details of this back in August to September of 2006 time frame.
1) Unsnap the stiff plastic covers on each of the four roof rail end supports. Use fingers only to avoid dings and scrapes.
2) Unscrew the eight bolts, two under each of the plastic covers, and lift off the rails.
3) I inserted my finger in the rear hole of each trim cover and lifted/pryed the cover to start unsnapping it from the metal spline in the bottom of each roof grooves. I then used fingers only to work my way along each trim strip, from rear to front, prying carefully to dislodge the strips from the spline.
4) Lay the new cover over the groove, and starting at one end (I think I started at the front) press the new trim strip firmly onto the spline. Use the heel of your hand to gently smack the strips onto the splines.
Only tool necessary is a socket wrench to remove the bolts.
Besure your buyers know what color your car is. The roof racks are always black but the trim strips match the car color. I sold & shipped my Parchment Silver strips and rack to a buyer in NJ.
Two years ago the strips were ordered by body color and arrived pre-painted.
