Currently have an 00 9-3 SE and 04 9-5 Aero. The X was fun to drive, but seemed much smaller inside than my old 9-3, the seat bases are short and I had no headroom. The plastic on the interior (door pulls and the raised center console section on the passengers side) was poorly finished with jagged edges and looked cheap and flimsy. The leather cover on the storage compartment door/armrest on the center console was ill fitting and randomly stapled (like cheap furniture staples) on to the underside. The window trim on the exterior was ill fitting. For the asking price one would expect much better quality, this is far worse than any Saab I have ever owned (7 of them since 1984). If this is what is in the future for Saab, I fear they will go the way of Oldsmobile. No new 9-3 anything for me. I will keep my old car.
