If you've had good experiences all your previous visits, why not call your old salesperson and give them another chance.
That said, I would certainly make them work for it though. I would make it _well known_ to both your old salesperson and the manager about you disappointing last visit and you are giving them one last chance at your business - in other words, it better be a screaming deal. There are too many options to have to put up with poor service.
Even if you are unwilling to go back (and I can't blame you) I would let the dealer know how and why they lost a customer. Remind them it wasn't a product problem (not really their fault) but rather a service problem (something well within their control).
