Next time your at the dealership tell them to check this service bullitin. Did they ever replace any bulbs? Usually we will replace the bulbs and do the bullitin. Anyways, hope this helps you.

SID message about lights being out of order
Cars affected
Saab 9-3 M06-M08 equipped with halogen lamps
within the following Vehicle Identification Number
ranges:
9-3 4D/5D: 61000001-81141499
9-3 CV: 66000001-86011395
Background
When the SID message "left/right low beam failure"
or "left/right high beam failure" is shown, the lamp is
broken in the majority of cases, but in some cases
the message is shown due to a software fault in the
UEC (electrical centre 342).
Sometimes the message may be shown despite the
lamp being intact.
In the case of customer complaint, the following procedure
must be carried out.
Symptom description
SID message "left/right low beam failure"
Diagnostic trouble codes in the UEC:
B2575 04 "low beam left circuit open"
B2699 04 "low beam right circuit open"
B2880 04 "high beam left circuit open"
B3866 04 "high beam right circuit open"
Parts required
Not affected.
Procedure
1 Connect Tech2 version 132.000 or later.
2 Connect to TIS 2000 edition 2007-2 update 2 or
later.
3 Update the control module, UEC, with software
12783250.
