My 9-5 got destroyed in a an accident, thus I could use a 2.0 xwd with 240 hp (Hirsch tuning) for some days. Here are my observations: The car is great to drive, the xwd particularly improves traction and roadholding under snow and ice conditions. Under these conditions the xwd is in fact much better and not comparable to the front-wheel experioence, while on the highway I did not notice a big difference. The car is very safe and comfortable to drive, and is in fact better balanced than a 280 hp xwd, as the engine is much less heavy, and the car is better balanced and does not show the understeer due to the excessive weight.. The engine with the 240 hp tuning is ok, is sufficiently powerful, but not nearly as smooth and powerful as an 280 hp xwd. An additional tuning would be helpful. With only 210 hp, the engine might appear insufficient, as the car has an additional weight of roughly 100-120 kg against the front wheel version. Fuel efficiency is ok, but not great, I used 10.5 l / 100 km, roughly 1 l more than with a front wheel version.
