I took my girlfriends' 2003 9-3 w/42k to the dealer for an oil change (I'm a good guy) and, as expected, the service writer advised me of other things that need attention: brake fluid flush for $89.95 and fuel injector service for $119.95. Normally I'd go to my indy for the brake fluid flush as he is much less expensive, and as for the injector service, we use a better grade gas and/or Techtron additive at every oil change.
I declined to have these things done until I could get advice from Saabnet members. What do they actually do when they do a injector service? What is your opinion on the $ cost of these services?
Thanks very much!
