My wife is the primary driver of our 2006 9-3SC 2.0T and has only accumulated ~25,000 miles in nearly 3 years of ownership. We have had no issues with the car at all.
The plastic trim panels for the rear door windows sag slightly in the middle (very common complaint) but this hasn't botherd me enough to have them replaced under warranty, or for me glue them into place with a dab of RTV.
The original Pirelli P6 Four Season tires suck in the rain and snow but I am sure these have already been replaced on the car you are considering.
The gas struts for the rear liftgate require removal of the entire head liner for replacement. Are the struts still adequate on the car you located?
The only other common complaint with the entire 9-3SS/SC/'Vert family is peeling of the rubber like material on dashboard surfaces and switches. Our car doesn't (yet?) have this problem.
I achieved over 33MPG on a tank of gas while driving thru the mountains of West Virginia at 80mph. No one can compain about that!
