i'm just wrapping up my 4 year lease next week....56k enjoyable miles (except the front spring breaking in 2 last december, but was fully reimbursed by GM to the tune of $1,200).
I really liked the car and was hoping to get another, but saab has not been leasing for a month or so, and the only way to get the killer deal on the remaining 08's is to bring your own cash to the table. i can't justify paying 30k for a new 9-3 just to get the 0%/60mth deal, when you could otherwise get the same car for 22k out the door....oh well
i did lease an 09 jetta wolfsburg, with the 2.0T motor. this motor/car is as fun, if not more, to drive than my saab. 3 weeks ago i was bummed to be giviing up my saab, but now that i've found just as capable a motor as in the saab (and MPG to boot), in a car that's 30% less price wise (both lease and invoice), and since it's new it's so much tighter and breathe's a heck of a lot easier, i have no regrets unleashing the 9-3 that has pretty much been maintanence free for 4 years/56k miles.
bye bye saab, it's been real - hope to see you in the future
cheers
