So, what if you don't lose or damage any of the keys, have that batteries changed at the dealer when the car is serviced,routinely rotate the use of all your keys and then your car forget your keys leaving you stranded? Have it trucked to the dealer and have them charge you $1,100 to do the repair in the article and blame you for unknown damage to the keys... What do you do when it forgets the new keys 3 weeks later? Have it trucked to the dealer and dropped of in front of the service door so they have to deal with it! Document everything with these cars, even having the batteries in the remotes changed at the dealer! This is what saved me from a second $1,100 bill and ultimately getting $800 back from GM/SAAB 3 months later after I filed a complaint with the BBB. If you have one bad key, take the advice from above and get a new one made NOW!
