How could I forget the worst part of the 9-3??? The hand held remote works or doesn't work whenever it feels like it. I can't tell you how many times I have stood next to this car, from various distances, pressing and pressing and pressing the unlock button only to have the car sit there laughing at me. No, it is not the remote battery, trust me. Good luck getting the doors open and then the trunk open in the rain when you need them both open quickly. Whatever network operates inside the car has a very slow communication speed. You have to open one or the other, wait a few seconds and then open the other. I've never seen a hand held remote this bad. Also the key is so darned big you have a nice big, uncomfortable bulge in your pants (Is that a Saab key in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?).
Oh, then there's the window anti-pinch feature that never works right especially when it's cold outside. Mine has been re-adjusted by the dealer three times already with 38,000 miles on the car.
Gee, sounds like I don't like Saab! I'm on Saab #12 so that's certainly not true, but there are certainly some annoying things and the 9-3 SS is full of them.
