I was just talking with a tech in Santa Ana about the GM tooling they had to buy, the tech just bought himself a Tech2, and was really pissed off that it looked like it was going to stop getting software updates.

Luckily I won't have to pull the trigger for a few years, till they come off warranty!

(While I was there, one of the techs was doing the first oil change on an '09 9-3 .... at 18,xxx miles... and we got to talking that by the time they showed up at our shop with 70k on them and have only had like.... 4 oil changes, the sorts of horrible things we get to see, whiney balance shaft chains, SAI check valves fused shut, automatic trans fluid that looks like espresso when you drain it....)
