look to an indi mechanic, make sure you ask what type of rotor and pad are being spec'd in their price.
I just replaced front and rear rotors along with Akebono euro pads. very happy with the brakes so far, have 4,000 miles on them and no dust problems at all with the front or the rear.they stop on a dime and give you cahnge very nice brakes!
dealer did last three sets of changes pads only and they were terrrible on the rears (2 times) and the fronts at last change were worse than the rears for dusting and longevity. thank you for crappy GM parts!!!
I did the brakes myself with parts from tire rack, rotors and pads for front and state of 9's on the rears rotors and pads. total cost including a couple of external torx sockets and wrenches was just around 400.00 for front and rear parts.
Honestly, If you can't do it yourself purchase the parts on line and get an indi shop to install. stay away from midas, sears, pepboys, tire shops etc not worth the risk of them screwing something up cause they don't have the correct tool or giving you poor parts that compromise the performance of your car. Some knuckle head wrench turner will use a 12 point socket to undo the E20 torx bolt and strip it out, then you'll have a real mess on your hands.
BTW there is no such thing as a ceramic rotor there are however ceramic pads.
