35K I'm not familiar with but what I do for my customers that cares about their cars is
At 30K. Air, oil and pollen filters. Engine, transmission and brake fluids. Tire rotation. Clean out throttle body plus the overall inspection of car that they all get every 10K service interval.
At 60K they get the same treatment again but also spark plugs, coolant and serpentine belt.
And in between at every 10K is oil change and tire rotation plus full inspection of car.
With this it makes it easy for me and the customer to keep track of what the car needs.
The full 60K service comes up to close to $700.00 (4cyl) with automatic transmission and the V6 is close to $1000.00 now.
What you have to do is read between the lines of what a car manufacturer advice about and what's good for the car.
Car manufacturers (not dealers) are under the gun to present nice, low waste product numbers to the government when the cars are classified. If they can prove (on the paper) that a car never needs any oil changes or any other fluid or filter changes, they get the nod from the agency to sell cars in US.
If that is good or bad for the car, they can deal with when the warranty is over and the customer is paying for it.
