The car is new enough that there shouldn't be mismatch problems - if the guy doing the blend work is good and color sands it there's a good chance the new paint will look better than the factory paint.

As for the rear suspension, you don't have an axle back there, it's an independent multi-link, and a bunch of the links are aluminum, hopefully it just buckled the aluminum links and didn't bend the hardpoints on the body, although some of that can be replaced, it'll depend.

I tell my customers who have collisions that as long as the structure is repaired 'correctly' and as long as it still drives straight after it's been aligned it's fine. That's the whole point of having the suspension links adjustable (for alignment) in the first place, to compensate for any imperfections in the finished structure.

If it's only $6,800 and covers all the suspension pieces, wheel, tire, stuff like that sounds like it's not a whole lot of damage - it doesn't take a hard hit to make $7k worth of damage these days.

Roast that brat that smashed up your girl too, I would.
