I just traded in my 2010 Prius and bought a 2010 9-3 XWD sedan. At first the Prius was fun 45 to 55 MPG but I couldn't get comfortable driving it. It handled horribly and had a really bad blind spot off the right shoulder. Last week I almost took out someone in a Volvo V70 wagon changing lanes. The blind spot was so bad that I usually looked over the shoulder 3 times before changing lanes. I also had to take out the rear seat headrests to get better visibility. I felt unsafe driving it despite the the crash test ratings being so good. The car felt like a hollow ball if tinfoil and I didn't want to find out if these crash test were for real so I got rid of it. I finally decided that safety and comfort were more important than getting a few more MPG's out of a gallon of gas. This is my 4th Saab and my 1st 9-3. I am really happy to be back. It drives amazing and I couldn't ask for more.
