Yes, flush the brake, and clutch system if manual trans. Brake fluid is suppose to absorb moisture. With a cracked cap it has allowed the system to be exposed to excessive moisture. There is quite a bit of mist thrown around in the engine bay when driving in the rain for example. Plus, it should be flushed every 4 years or 60k regardless.
The new cap is Saab pn93189060, around $21 cost. From '05 to '06 MY, Saab redesigned the rim of the cap, removing the hat surround. Until recently only the early caps I had seen come in cracked (almost all '03-'05). Now seeing '06+ models with the newer designed caps coming in cracked at the same spot (around the brim of the tank). Common enough to keep 2 or 3 on the shelf.
