If your replacing with a new switch from Saab, you will need to SPS/ADD the new switch to the vehicle BUS. Requires Tech 2, TIS2k, security access. Used will swap in and out just fine however.
John is correct, regulator and motor are plug and play. Recommend removing battery leads anytime working with electronics on your vehicle.
