Guys, since I just bought a 2011 9-3SS Turbo 4 with no warranty and saved a ton, I was hoping to get some direction on the following:
1. Where are the best online resources in the USA for parts both factory, and aftermarket
2. Is there a viable alternative to Tech II (tech 2) that uses a cable and software for my laptop. I also have a Snap-on Brick, is there an update for that for tech II access?
3. Are the shop manuals on ebay a good version of the TIS or is there a free download or a copy I can get from someone here?
4. What is the best and most cost effective software tuning upgrade for the car for more HP? I am also willing to consider a turbo upgrade and injector upgrade, (I would prefer to go the scrap yard used turbo and injectors to save some cost if I can get the accepted upgraded parts and what vehicles they may have been used on recently)
5. Any really good and cost effective short shift kits?
Anything else I may have left out let me know,
I haven't had a Saab since the late 90's and I miss the hatch. I have had BMW M-cars and Porsches lately, but needed a GM sedan for work and got buy-off on the Saab.
It's no M-car or Porsche but it sure beats the GM offerings currently. Watch out though, the Buick GS is pretty nice, nicer than the 9-5 we drove and the Verano Turbo is getting the 250hp 2.0t with the 6 speed as well.
