Here's the thing.
I got a bad head in my 2004 B207R so I bought another head from a 2009 B207R without realizing that the heads are not actually identical. At least the head assemblies do not have the same part numbers.
According to the EPC the cams have different part numbers and a few other things as well.
I figured there are two options which I don't know if it would be ok to do.

1) put the complete 2009 head on my 2004 block and hope for the best. Though I don't know if the cams are actually that different. Maybe I'll need a 2007+ software tune? or not?
2) swap 2004 cams into the 2009 head and put on my 2004 block. Hopefully the cams will fit and other different components wont matter.

Can anyone with the expertise help me find the answer?
