Before I break something I had better ask how this thing is supposed to work. Quarter turn to the left, coolant flows out rear-facing nipple? Is that the plan? I saw something about quarter turn left and pull out, but after a fairly smooth turn it doesn't want to pull out and so far no flow. So how is this supposed to go?
