Different than a 9-5 Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Tue, 21 Aug 2012 17:39:30 In Reply to: thinking about buying..............., Seansaab, Tue, 21 Aug 2012 05:26:27 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
My wife drives a '06 9-3SC with the 2.0T engine. She loves it and it is a great car but it feels different than the 9-5. Not bad in any way, just different. It has plenty of power and gets great fuel mileage, over 33 MPG on the highway.
When I replaced my 2000 9-5 with a 2008 9-5 the difference in feel was minimal.
If you like the feel of the 9-3 then get the car.
BTW - Her '06 has 50K miles and its only required repair has been replacement of broken front springs in January of this year under warranty.
