Check the fuses first?
Since its an Aero, I assume ACC. Do the seat heater indicators light up on the ACC panel? Check fuses 15 and 16 in the rear electrical center (in trunk on the left side) Diagram also shows a relay for operation of the heater grid in each seat.
Rather than a hail mary to grids, pull the harnesses and check for continuity on pin 12 (on the large 40 pin connector) and the solid yellow wire coming out of the relay on the driver seat. Test is the same for the passenger seat. The lower and back grids are wired in series. So if there is a break in one of the two grids it will show a complete open circuit. There are a total of 2 grids per seat.
