After cleaning the old one, checking all the wiring, cleaning electrical connections, it seemed nothing would work.
It also got progressively worse. Finally in a snowstorm the car started throwing 5 or 6 codes. Car lost all boost.
Resetting the battery helped the next day, but the throttle body code and cpu code would come back on quick.
At this point I knew it was the computer or throttle body. I borrowed my buddy's cheap code scanner. That allowed me to understand which code went off first. It was the throttle body.
Got a good throttle body that was used with a 6 month warranty from Nationwide in Lancaster, MA. Highly would recommended any of you to them for used Saab parts. They specialize in European mostly.
If you get those codes and you cant manage to fix it. you probably will need a new throttle body. My old one must have gotten chipped gears because when i took it out, something rattled wihin.
Good luck!
