LOL, Italian Tune-up.
Almost in line with the Spett å Slägg trimmning (Prybar and Sledgehammer performance tuneup) they did to the exhaust systems in Sweden to make it sound like it ran much better.
Thinking of it, that's exactly what the Ricers do to make their Asian cars run "faster" with their sound magnifiers.
Interesting development with that car. Nothing beats it though when you have a problem or fault code pop up on a regular basis and not every other blue moon or when a Meteor hits earth.
I use a 20 Oz Chevron Techron concentrate at every 30K major service so maybe I stave off some of them on a regular basis.
As for gasoline related problems. We do see a correlation between cheap Arco and Costco gas and strange hiccups and idle problems and tell the customer to try two tanks of Chevron 91 and see if it goes away. Sometimes we hear back from them saying that it did indeed clear up the problem.
