I have a 2009 9-3 SC I bought in January 2010 before they almost went out of business the first time. I have noticed that the car has been acting funny--just driving around town holding the accelerator at a steady speed, the car will hesitate and lurch sometimes. There has been no engine lights or anything and if you punch it, it seems to accelerate just fine. Engine seems to be running smoothly, so I was assuming this was some kind of turbo problem. While I had it at the dealer for an oil change, I asked them to look into this and they said I needed new spark plugs and a fuel injector cleaning. (To the tune of $400+.) I DO do a lot of in town driving, which they said was responsible for my gunk build up. I only have 29K miles on it, but doesn't it seem pretty early to be needing all that? I still have nearly a year left on my GM warranty, so if there's something wrong, I'd like to get it fixed before then. I bought a bottle of Techron, but am waiting to empty my gas tank before I use it. Any ideas? Thanks.
