GM is moving away from the Tech-II Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Tue, 3 Sep 2013 03:19:12 In Reply to: Re: ABS scan tools : any inexpensive units for DIYers ?, SWEDECAR [Profile/Gallery] , Mon, 2 Sep 2013 19:28:03 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I heard from my B-I-L last night that GM is moving away from the Tech-II to laptop connected diagnostic software. Apparently Bosch had the recent contract with GM to bulid and service the Tech-II (originally Vektronix?) and they have both stopped production and stopped servicing the Tech-II for anything other than warranty issues.
My B-I-L is supposed to check today to determine the name of the software program GM is moving towards and let me know.
