Help winter storage unhooking battery Posted by rpm2 [Email] (#259) [Profile/Gallery] (more from rpm2) on Tue, 5 Nov 2013 20:07:40 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
My 2008 2.0T convertible - Will I have any issues removing my battery for the winter and starting it up next Spring. I don't have access to electrical for a battery tender so I plan on removing the battery. I will put it on a battery tender at home.
I plan on doing an oil change tomorrow and adding air to the tires (42PSI).
This is probably a really dumb question, but I assume that once I put the battery back in 3 months later and try to start the car my key will get recognized.
