I was perusing fueleconomy.gov for fuel economy comparisons of various Saabs, and it seems that, for apparently the same car, engine & trans (9-3 Combi, 2.0 turbo, 5sp. auto), the EPA rating was better for 2010 models of the 9-3 vs 2008 models.
2008: 20 combined, 18 City, 24 Highway, on Premium.
2010: 22 combined, 19 City, 27 Highway, on Regular.
Is it all because of the different grade of fuel? Or were there many engine management or equipment/configuration changes between 08 & 10?
I'm really looking for a 9-3X (not TurboX), but they seem to be rare as hen's teeth...
Thanks,
