Hi All-
I have small Boston Whaler which weighs right at 3500lbs w/o trailer.
I'd like to have the piece of mind to be able to tow it out of the water and down the block to my home in the event of a hurricane or other storm. I wouldn't be exceeding more than 5 or 10 mph. Flat neighborhood road; 300 yards to my house.
The boat ramp is shallow and the car is an 09' 9-3 XWD with an automatic transmission.
I won't hold anyone to it, but would this boat damage the drivetrain if I wanted to do a once or twice a year pull out of the water? Thoughts? Experience? Comments?
Thanks,
JD
