Leave trans fluid alone?

Bought car 9-3 SC - so far, so good. Zero transmission issues. Coming from old-school 9000 maintenance practices, I believe in pro-active maintenance. 9-3 does not have ZF transmission and very reliable I am told. Carfax shows 65,000 service done. I was thinking of changing fluid in this automatic. Should I just leave everything alone? I can't confirm brand of fluid in there since it wasn't done under my watch. Is the tranny bullet-proof enough just to leave it alone for the life of the car?
Feedback appreciated!
