The stock 2.0T clutch setup is a dual mass flywheel, thats why I was saying you should replace it along with the clutch assembly. Its a pretty involved job on a 9440 9-3 to pull the trans etc, similar to a 9-5. Very silly to skimp on replacing parts while its out to try and shave down parts cost when labor is $1200. If your slave or RMS goes south after replacement, all that stuff has to come back out for another $1200. The prices quoted seem reasonable, go shop for a 2008 3/5-series BMW or S4 Audi clutch replacement. You'll find a 9-3 clutch job is inexpensive. In the tuning world, its referred sometimes to the price to play.
