Time for major ignition system maintenance Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Sun, 1 Apr 2018 08:29:28 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Over 90K miles on my wife's '06 9-3SC 2.0T daily driver, so time for new coils and plugs. Source of coils was a no-brainer, eEuro, as the consensus is to stay ONLY with Saab branded coils. Great discount on these too!
Plugs were a bit of a surprise. Saab branded plugs from eEuro were cheaper by ~$2 each compared to the NGK branded OEM supplier plugs.
I know, I know, others say to wait until failure of one coil before replacing the lot. But this is the wife's daily driver and we may be needing it to travel to Pittsburgh a few times this summer when our youngest relocates there. No sense pushing our luck.
