I'd agree with Justin that it's nearly cheaper and not much more work to swap it as compared to doing just the head, given that these motors are quite inexpensive, used.
I did a motor swap on an '05 convertible back in the spring, solo--and was able to do it in/out from the top, leaving the subframe, transmission (automatic--manual won't work this way, sadly), AC system, hood, axles and even the wheels on. Needed to pull the crank pulley and ancillaries from the front of the motor, and had an inch or so on either side on the way out and back in. The cat support I unbolted from the block and supported the cat and front part of the exhaust with a jack stand. There was plenty of room with the hood open and headlight supports in place to clear all of it both directions with the motor and engine hoist.
The only thing I had to be really careful about on the way back in was making sure that the right hand side axle support bearing was in the right position as to not catch on the engine block on the way in.
