Ever have the situation where you buy parts intending to install them as a possible repair to an assumed problem, then never quite got around to it?
That was me with sway bar links on our '06 Sport Combi. From searching past posts it seems I purchased new links in 2014 in response to a mysterious front end noise. I installed one link last July replacing a fully failed link. For some reason I didn't do the other side of the car maybe because replacing a fully failed link is quite an ordeal. Nothing stays in position when trying to loosen the nuts.
Today I replaced the other side which was still functional. This side was a piece of cake compared to replacing the failed one.
